On that menu will be a conversation about the power of diverse children’s books to create a nation where we all belong. That power is being threatened by the segregation and banning of children’s books featuring BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and Immigrant/New Generation children and families.

Grace has just published the magnificent Chinese Menu: The History, Myths, and Legends Behind Your Favorite Foods which is among many things, the story of Chinese immigration.
