Rickshaw Girl, a Bengali story by Mitali Perkins, illustrated by Jamie Hogan, and published by I’m Your Neighbor Books’ supporter Charlesbridge Publishing, has been a beloved text in multilingual classrooms across the nation for 15 years.
I’m Your Neighbor Books is proud to partner with the Portland Museum of Art to bring the new film adaptation to Maine!
The event will open with an artist talk by Jamie Hogan. Jamie is not only the illustrator of the book, but the artist who created the lovely image for I’m Your Neighbor Books’ home page.
