Black Books Matter Today and All Days

I’m Your Neighbor Books is a infinitely proud to again partner with Indigo Arts Alliance and Diverse BookFinder for their annual production of The Beautiful Blackbird Children’s Book Festival. The team is hard at work at planning the August 2021 festival and I’m Your Neighbor Books will continue to bring the Black immigrant voice to that celebration.

The Beautiful Blackbird Children’s Book Festival celebrates the voices, artistry, and impact of Black children’s literature. Visit the festival for video read aloud’s with creator interviews, art activities, and educational opportunities. Indigo Arts Alliance produces this annual festival to honor Black children’s book legend Ashley Bryan and his classic African fable Beautiful Blackbird.
